Medical Student Scholarly Activities
Welcome medical students!
Medical students are encouraged to participate in research by contacting Dr. Diaz or Dr. Frugoli to join an existing resident and/or faculty team in an area of interest to them. As part of a CMH research team, medical students may assist with data collection, literature review, or other parts of a study or case report. Under special circumstances, medical students can complete a research elective.
Medical students accessing PHI need to be included in research proposals and on the IRB application and must sign off with the Principal Investigator (PI) prior to leaving the study. Due to their relatively short tenure at CMH, medical students should consider their availability when evaluating the type of research in which they wish to participate.
